Work Description: The General Purpose Warehouse has a multi-story office area and single story warehouse that serves the food distribution function at Ft. Bragg. The project included the design and construction of the warehouse to replace Troop Issuance Subsistence Activity (TISA) warehouse and offices. The building is 49,894SF and includes loading docks, refrigerated storage, general open storage, and drive-in freezers. Office and administrative areas are included in a two story mezzanine structure of approximately 12,000SF. The building is fully sprinkled, meets AT/FP standards as a primary gathering space for the 100 person classroom on the mezzanine level, and incorporates a ductless mechanical system in the main warehouse area. Sitework includes creating a mounded pad for the building structure on compacted fill, resurfacing of areas of an existing parking lot, phased stormwater control for pre-construction, construction, and post construction containment and treatment.

Tyler Construction Group was the prime contractor on this project. We provided full time project management, site supervision, quality management and assurance, and SSHO. We self-performed all installation of Division 10 items, misc. concrete placement, plywood blocking & backing, installation of doors & hardware, warehouse floor striping, misc. site demo, and daily cleanup/site maintenance.
