Work Description: Lyman Vocational Rehab was a construction only on a new office building approximately 19,000 SF. Also included in the new building is an area office, a 10,000 SF production/training floor with computer lab, conference room, new staffs break area, and a special services unit for occupational and physical therapy training. The work included clearing and grading of 10 acres, new parking lot, and a new water & sewer system. The building has a standing seam metal roof over metal deck. Other trades landscaping, precast concrete, casework, sports flooring, carpet, VCT, ceramic tile, masonry, automatic doors, blinds, metal wall panels, architectural sun shades, plumbing, fire sprinkler, irrigation, mechanical and electrical.

Delays for this project were due to the fact that we had several rain days. We also found a large amount of unsuitable soil that had to be removed. We had to add an additional site work retaining wall and wait for the utility company to lower a large gas line on the front of the site. The owner also had us tie into a sewer line that was being installed at the time we were working.
