Tyler Construction teamed up with GMK to design and construct an addition to the current museum building at the Dr. Benjamin E. Mays Historic Site. The addition is approximately 2800 square feet and consist of two ADA compliant restrooms, a small resource library room, a Director’s office, and an auditorium space for approximately 100 standing people. The exterior of the building blends in with the existing wood siding structure, which resembles an old barn. The roofing material and windows match the existing building as well.
